Vendor Information

The Oregon State Sheriffs' Association is pleased to invite you to our 2008 Annual Conference that will be held once again at the new Riverhouse Hotel and Convention Center in Bend, Oregon. The dates for our conference will be December 7th through December 11th. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with the Oregon Sheriffs and their management personnel from Patrol, Corrections, Civil, Dispatch and Search & Rescue.

The conference provides vendors with an excellent opportunity to again showcase their products in this beautiful convention center that is adjacent to the hotel (www.riverhouse.com). In deference to our vendors, the exhibit hall will again be placed in the main ballroom and immediately next to the Sheriffs' main meeting room. Vehicles, trailers and other similar large items can be displayed under the portico at the main entrance. All events (meetings, meals, breaks, Trade Show) are held in the same building to ensuring maximum networking. On Monday evening, December 8th, there will be a Welcoming Reception that will also take place among the vendor displays. On Tuesday, December 9th, we will be hosting a training session featuring a national speaker. We will be inviting other law enforcement, corrections and fire department agencies to attend. This arrangement allows you to enjoy maximum exposure to the Sheriffs, their command staff and other public safety agencies throughout the entire conference.

Booth assignments will be made after we receive your paid registration and will be made on a first come, first served basis. You may set up your display any time between 1 PM and 4 PM on Sunday, December 7th and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday the 8th. (Please note that the Sheriffs and staff will be meeting throughout the day on Monday. Vendors who are set up by Sunday night will have the ability to make early contacts.) We ask that all displays remain up until after lunch on Wednesday the 10th, but they must be torn down and the area cleared by 4 PM.

Please refer to the registration form for a listing of available hosting opportunities for gaining special recognition during the conference. If there are any questions, or you have special needs for display space, power, internet access, etc., give this office a call and we will help you make arrangements. Your support is important to us and we want to make your job as easy as possible. Anyone who supports the conference will receive special recognition in the agenda and our publication of the Oregon Sheriff Magazine. When you send your registration form, we would also appreciate a one line sentence listing the services or products your company provides so we can include it in the agenda.

This conference is the largest gathering of Sheriffs, their command staff and other criminal justice professionals in Oregon. We certainly hope you can attend this important gathering and make those vital business contacts while having a good time in Bend. Bend is a year round recreational area in central Oregon bordered by the Deschutes National Forest and the Cascade Mountains. If you enjoy snow sports, the beautiful Mount Bachelor Ski Resort is only 35 minutes from the hotel.
